PRINT PRICING & INFORMATION
ALL IMAGES ARE AVAILABLE AS FINE ART PRINTS
The photographic process has traditionally meant that a finished print was created at the end of the process. Since the late 80’s, most professional photographers rarely finished out the process by printing their work because they had to give up control of the final print. Printing has traditionally been a tedious and laborious process. With the advent of digital printing, we now have complete control over the final print. Creating a fine art print is still a tedious process but the end results are prints with much finer detail, color rendition and resolution than has ever been seen before. I can now create prints of my work that share my vision and my intent exactly as I want to present it. Hence, I am very excited to offer my images as high-resolution archival pigment prints in both Limited and Open editions.
These archival prints are pain-stakingly created in-house on state-of-the-art printers. We print on Epson printers and work with a variety of papers including both fine art matte papers and Baryta Photographic papers. The printer and paper combination is chosen specifically for each image so that every image will be rendered with the highest possible resolution and the widest color gamut.

Print Permanence
Archival pigment prints, otherwise known as “giclee” or “ink jet” prints, printed on high-end printers from Epson, Canon or Hewlett-Packard (HP) will outlast most traditional prints created in the darkroom. Here in our office, we have top-end Epson printers and we use both matte and baryta (barium sulfate) papers that have permanence ratings of 100 to 150 years and beyond.
Depending on the printer, the paper choice and how the images are stored the life expectancy of our prints can range from 100 years up to 300 years as noted by the fine folks at Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc. (www.wilhelm-research.com), who conduct research on the stability and preservation of traditional and digital color photographs and motion pictures. If you are interested in more exact print permanence figures for your print we can send you a PDF detailing the exact figures for the printers and papers we work with.
